Mark Lin

Mark Lin is a highly experienced medical professional with a strong background in pulmonary and critical care medicine. Currently serving as the Safety Science Medical Director at Genentech since September 2018, Mark previously worked at Kaiser Permanente as a Pulmonary and Critical Care Staff Physician from July 2006 to September 2018. Mark completed a Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship at UC San Diego School of Medicine between June 2003 and June 2006, and held the position of Research Associate at The Scripps Research Institute for a year during this fellowship. Prior to this, Mark was a Resident Physician in Internal Medicine at UC Davis Medical Center from June 2000 to June 2003. Mark holds an MD-PhD degree from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science Honors in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from Western University.
