Matthew Smith

Matthew Smith, PhD, MSPH, is a Senior Medical Science Liaison at Genentech, where they connect people, data, and ideas to address complex issues in solid tumors. They previously held positions as a Biological Scientist at the Florida Department of Health and a Biologist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Matthew completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Moffitt Cancer Center and served as a Graduate Assistant at the University of South Florida College of Medicine, where they also obtained their advanced degrees. Before their current role, Matthew worked as a Medical Science Liaison at Genentech from 2019 to 2021.
