Mayur Mitra

Mayur Mitra, PhD, DABT, is a distinguished scientist and director at Genentech, leading oncology therapy areas since May 2017, with prior experience as the therapy area lead for infectious disease and project toxicologist. Before joining Genentech, Mayur served as a senior principal scientist and project toxicologist at Bristol Myers Squibb from January 2012 to May 2017, where responsibilities included GLP study director and study monitor roles. Mayur's career began at Washington University School of Medicine as a research investigator II and postdoctoral research scholar in drug safety evaluation. Mayur holds a B. Pharm. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Mumbai and a Ph.D. in Toxicology from the University of Louisiana Monroe.
