Melody Lin

Melody Lin is a seasoned Transportation Program Manager with extensive experience in promoting sustainable commutes and leading diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives at Genentech since August 2019. Previous roles include Planner at Urban Planning Partners, Inc., and Associate Regional Planner at the San Joaquin Council of Governments, where Melody managed multi-agency projects focused on sustainable transportation and housing. Melody holds a Master of Sustainable Transportation from the University of Washington and dual bachelor’s degrees in Environmental Policy Analysis and Planning, and International Relations and Affairs from the University of California, Davis. Notable projects include evaluating electric scooter sharing programs in Oakland and conducting greenhouse gas emissions assessments for UC Davis.
