Michael Maser

Michael Maser is a Principal Scientist in Machine Learning at Prescient Design, Genentech, where they head a research group focused on molecular machine learning and contribute to drug discovery projects. They previously served as a Senior Machine Learning Scientist at Genentech, specializing in ML methods for drug design. Michael gained experience as a Research Intern at Google Accelerated Science and completed internships in materials chemistry and medicinal chemistry at DigiLens, Inc. and Novartis, respectively. They hold a PhD in Computational & Synthetic Organic Chemistry from Caltech and a Bachelor of Science with Highest Honors in Chemistry and Biochemistry from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
