Mike Paredes

Mike Paredes has extensive experience in government affairs, currently serving in State & Local Government Affairs at Genentech since November 2006. Prior to this role, Mike worked at Hoffman LaRoche as State Government Affairs for the Southeast U.S. from 2006 to 2009. Mike's background includes significant positions at the Florida Department of Health, where responsibilities included Legislative Affairs Director and interim roles as Chief of Staff and Communications Director. Previous experience also encompasses Legislative Affairs at the Agency for Health Care Administration, Legislative Analyst roles at the Florida House of Representatives and Florida Senate, and Senior Representative Government Relations at Walt Disney World. Mike holds a BA in Economics from Florida State University and an AA in Business from Florida State College at Jacksonville.
