Monica Smith

Monica Smith is a Senior Contracts Manager in the Complex Contracts Department at Genentech. They held various legal positions, including Research Assistant and Legal Extern, before advancing to roles such as Senior Industry Contracts Officer at UCSF and District Director for the California State Assembly. Monica has contributed to the UCSF / UC Hastings Consortium on Law, Science & Health Policy as a Fellow and served as Policy Director / Supervising Attorney for the SJSU Record Clearance Project. They earned a J.D. from UC Hastings College of the Law and are currently pursuing a B.A. in Philosophy at the University of Utah.
