Nina Timberlake is a gene and cell therapy expert with a decade of experience in multi-platform gene delivery targeting hematopoietic stem cells, T cells, and tumors. Currently serving as the Director of Immuno-Oncology at Genentech since 2025, Nina has also held leadership roles at Poseida Therapeutics, Inc., where they advanced gene therapy projects. A former postdoctoral fellow at The Scripps Research Institute, Nina specialized in enhancing lentiviral vector transduction of hematopoietic stem cells. Nina earned a Ph.D. in Molecular and Medical Pharmacology from UCLA and a BA in Molecular Biology from Scripps College.
