Ning Ma is currently the Safety Strategy Lead and Senior Medical Safety Director in Drug Safety at Genentech, a position they have held since 2019. Prior to this role, they served as the Director of Drug Safety at Nektar Therapeutics from 2018 to 2019. Ning has extensive experience in various safety roles at Genentech, beginning their tenure there in 2005. They earned a Master of Science in Toxicology from The University of Texas at Austin and possess dual degrees—an M.D. and an M.S. in Preventive Medicine and Toxicology—from Beijing Medical University.
