Nuwan Hettige, PhD, is a research data analyst in human genetics at Genentech since 2022. Previously, they worked as a graduate researcher at the Douglas Research Centre from 2016 to 2022 and gained early experience in neurogenetics as an undergraduate research student at CAMH from 2012 to 2014. Nuwan has also served as a teaching assistant for various genetics courses at McGill University. They are currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Human Genetics and a Master of Science (MSc) in the Institute of Medical Science at McGill University, in addition to holding an Honours Bachelor of Science (BSc) with distinction in Human Biology & Neuroscience from the University of Toronto.
