Patrick Holder

Patrick Holder is a highly experienced scientist with a robust background in chemical biology and enzyme mechanisms. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Scientist at Genentech since January 2017, Patrick has held various roles including Principal Scientist, Senior Scientist, and Scientist, focusing on the design and development of Antibody-Drug Conjugates. Prior to Genentech, Patrick worked at Bristol-Myers Squibb as a Scientist and at Catalent Pharma Solutions (formerly Redwood Bioscience) as a Research Scientist, specializing in enzyme enhancement. Academic contributions include postdoctoral research at Harvard University and MIT, where Patrick investigated the enzyme Ribonucleotide Reductase using advanced molecular biology techniques. Patrick earned a PhD in Chemical Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, and an A.B. in Chemistry from Columbia University.
