Philip Shen

Philip Shen possesses extensive experience in automation, data science, and project management across various industries. At Fanciful Company, Philip designed an automated agricultural transplanting system, significantly reducing labor needs while collaborating with multiple stakeholders. Previous roles include leading a remote sensing project at Grupo Jacto, interning at Boeing where Philip received an award for a robot end effector design, and serving as a geospatial data scientist at the Naval Research Laboratory, focusing on remote sensing and oceanic data modeling. More recently, Philip worked as a computational scientist at Genentech, developing advanced image processing algorithms and deep learning models within digital pathology. Philip holds a Master's degree in Computing from the University of Utah and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA.
