Phyllis Chan is currently a Distinguished Scientist at Genentech, having held previous roles as Principal Scientist and Scientist within the company. Prior to Genentech, Phyllis served as Associate Director, Senior Research Investigator, and Research Investigator at Bristol-Myers Squibb from 2015 to 2017. Phyllis completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Southern California between 2008 and 2010. In their education, Phyllis earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Auburn University, a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Classical Civilization from UCLA, and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health at Imperial College London.
