Qi (Tina) Yang is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in the biomedical and healthcare sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Data Scientist at Genentech since January 2019, Qi previously held the position of Principal Data Scientist in Imaging. Prior experience includes managerial and leadership roles at Topcon Healthcare Solutions and Topcon Medical Systems, alongside a research assistant position at Cleveland Clinic. Qi began a career as a software engineer at Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Cleveland State University and an ME and BE in Instruments from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
