Ritam Das

Ritam Das is a Technical Development Scientist I at Genentech, with prior experience as a Process Development Scientist at Poseida Therapeutics, Inc., where expertise in lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) was developed through a rigorous Design of Experiments (DOE) approach. Ritam has led early-stage process development, focusing on excipient screening and tangential flow filtration, and contributed to physicochemical characterization and technical documentation. Previous roles include Research Scientist I, Graduate Research Assistant, and Research Engineer Intern, where innovative work on drug delivery systems, including stimuli-responsive lipid platforms and ultrasmall polymer nanocapsules, was conducted. Ritam earned a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and holds degrees in polymer science and chemistry from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira, respectively.
