Sally Madden is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the biotechnology and genomic sectors. Currently employed at Genentech since June 2016, Sally has previously contributed to the Sequencing Data Management team at The DOE Joint Genome Institute from 2013 to June 2016 and served as a software developer at the University of California, Davis Genome Center from April 2002 to April 2013. Earlier in Sally's career, lab management and research roles were undertaken at Plant Pathology UC Davis from June 1991 to September 1996. Educationally, Sally holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of California, Davis (1990-1993) and a Master of Science in Software Engineering from Golden Gate University (1999-2001).
