Sam Tracy is a statistician specializing in methods for missing data, single-cell genomics, and survival analysis. Currently a Senior Statistical Scientist at Genentech since 2021, Sam previously worked as a Statistical Scientist at the same company from 2019 to 2021 and served as an instructor at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in 2019. Sam obtained a Ph.D. from Harvard University in 2019, following a B.S. from the University of California, San Diego. Sam is an advocate for software development, reproducible research, and diversity in STEM.
