Sami McVay

Sami McVay, MBA, is a Senior Principal Bioanalytical Manager and Functional Resourcing and Late Stage Portfolio Lead at Genentech, where they support the gRED pipeline and Roche portfolio from Early Stage Research through Post Marketing. With a solid foundation in scientific, technical, business, and operations experience, Sami has demonstrated expertise in clinical drug development and bioanalytics, alongside a proven record of functional and cross-functional leadership. They have held progressively responsible roles at Genentech since 2022 and previously worked as a Research Associate III at Ambrx from 2004 to 2008. Currently, Sami is pursuing a B.S. in Molecular Biology from the University of California, San Diego, and an M.B.A. in Business Administration from the Pennsylvania State University-Great Valley Graduate Center.
