Sara Haile, PhD, is an accomplished scientist currently serving as a Senior Scientist in the Drug Development Training Program at Genentech since October 2022. Previously, Sara was a PhD candidate at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine from August 2016 to May 2022, focusing on Biochemistry, Cellular and Molecular Biology. Early research experience includes roles as an Undergraduate Researcher at the STEM Diversity Summer Research Institute and The Leadership Alliance, as well as a position in the DuBois Lab. In addition, Sara co-led and mentored students in the Academic Excellence Program at UCSC, facilitating their understanding of STEM concepts and opportunities.
