Savannah Sawaged

Savannah Sawaged, PhD, is a clinical scientist at Roche/Genentech, specializing in multiomic methodologies to explore disease biology and mechanism of action research. They apply molecular biology techniques to identify new targets in immunology and virology while leading sustainable science initiatives, such as the Green Genes initiative. Savannah's previous experience includes working as a research assistant at San Diego State University, where they conducted preclinical evaluations in cancer models, and serving as a postdoctoral fellow focused on epigenetics and drug discovery. Additionally, they advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion within the Genentech Postdoctoral Program. Currently, Savannah pursues further education in Biological and Biomedical Sciences at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
