Shih-Chen Chang

Shih-Chen Chang is currently the Group Head in Ophthalmology, Real-World Data Science at Genentech, a member of Roche, where they have worked since 2024. With a rich background in epidemiology and data science, they previously held roles such as Director of Epidemiology and Safety Analytics at Pharmacyclics and Principal Real World Data Scientist at Genentech. Shih-Chen has also served as a Principal Research Scientist at the Asian Vegetable Research & Development Center and gained extensive academic credentials, including a Ph.D. in Nutritional Epidemiology from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. They actively contributed to the CHINESE BIOSCIENCE ASSOCIATION as a Conference Chair and Vice President in 2013.
