Simon Kelow

Simon Kelow is a Principal Scientist in Machine Learning for Drug Discovery at Genentech, working within the Computational and Structural Biology group. They previously served as a Scientist in the same field at Prescient Design, focusing on the integration of machine learning and protein structural analysis for antibody design. Simon has held various research positions, including a Research Assistant role at the University of Kansas, where they studied computational methods for protein-protein interactions, and a position at GSK as a Computational Protein Engineer. They earned a Ph.D. in Molecular Biophysics from the University of Pennsylvania, where their research centered on structural bioinformatics of antibody structures, and they are actively engaged in initiatives to increase young minority students' access to science.
