Steven Cagas

Steven Cagas is currently serving as the Senior Medical Science Director at Genentech, a position held since 2021. Prior to this role, they worked at Roche Diagnostics Corporation as a Scientific Affairs Manager from 2015 to 2021 and held various positions at Roche Molecular Systems between 2013 and 2015. Cagas began their academic journey with a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from Rutgers University and completed a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. They also have experience as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the same institution in 2011.
