Tony Morgado

Tony Morgado is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in Human Resources and Learning & Development. Currently serving as a Senior Manager for Learning & Development at Genentech since July 2003, Tony co-founded the Wellbeing @ Work Initiative, aimed at enhancing employee wellbeing and integrating it into leadership strategies. Previous roles include Senior Business Systems Analyst at Genentech, where Tony developed system requirements and user interfaces, and Manager of HR Systems and Administration at Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison, overseeing PeopleSoft HRIS and improving operational productivity. Earlier career stages included HRIS Manager at The Good Guys, where Tony managed system implementations and training cost reductions, and Labor Relations Advisor at AGC of California, handling labor contract administration. Tony holds a BA in History from UCLA, an M.Ed. in Organizational Performance & Change from Colorado State University, and a Certificate in Human Resource Management from California State University, Hayward.
