Traci Smith

Traci Smith is currently the Executive Director of Product Development at Genentech, where they are a core member of lifecycle and global development teams, overseeing operational strategic planning and risk management. Previously, Traci served as Regional Head of Study Management, providing leadership across North America to ensure the effective delivery of global studies. Their background includes extensive experience in global clinical development for biologics and medical devices, as well as conducting basic science research in cardiopathology and immunology. Traci has also worked as a Lecturer at the University of Louisville and has lived in Basel, Switzerland for a year. They hold a Master’s degree in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Louisville and a Bachelor’s degree with dual majors in Biology and Chemistry from Western Kentucky University.
