Wei Zhang

Wei Zhang is a formulation scientist specializing in small molecule drug development, with extensive experience leading and managing projects at Genentech. They have held positions ranging from Associate Scientist to Principal Scientist, where they focused on market image formulation, enabling formulations for GLP toxicity studies, and solid form development. Wei earned a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a B.S. in Analytical Chemistry from Peking University. They continue to oversee internal development, GMP manufacturing, and tech transfers in their current role at Genentech.
