Yang Tang

Yang (Thomas) Tang is a Principal Scientist at Genentech, with a progressive tenure beginning as a Scientist and advancing to Senior Scientist since August 2020. Prior to this role, Yang conducted Ph.D. thesis research at Boston University from September 2015 to May 2020, focusing on a comprehensive glycomics study under the supervision of Professor Catherine E. Relevant experience also includes a summer internship at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, where Yang contributed to the development of an in-house mass spectral library, and a co-op position at Sanofi, which involved MALDI mass spectrometry imaging. Yang holds a Ph.D. in Mass Spectrometry from Boston University and a Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Tianjin University.
