Ying Cheng

Ying Cheng is a Senior QC Scientist and Analytical Technical Lead at Genentech, where they focus on biologics analytical control systems and product quality. With extensive experience in method development, validation, and transfer, Ying has contributed significantly to late-stage biologics product characterization and assay development. Previously, they held roles at several companies, including Roche and Takeda Pharmaceuticals, specializing in bioanalytical techniques and protein characterization. Ying has also supervised teams and led initiatives for new technology assessments within the commercial QC network. They hold two Master of Science degrees, one in physical chemistry from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and another in chemistry from Vanderbilt University.
