Steve Patterson

Steve Patterson is an experienced electrical design engineer and consultant with a robust background in product development for medical, industrial, and consumer electronics. Currently serving as a Contract Electrical Design Engineer since December 2022, Patterson specializes in architecture and board design, with extensive expertise in motors, sensors, and communication technologies. A Contract Senior EE at Gener8 since March 2016, Patterson has led the design of complex systems based on the ST Micro STM32 family. Previous roles include Principal Engineer at Summit Scientific, Board Developer at Sony, FPGA Developer, and Senior Engineering Manager at Infinera, among others. Patterson holds a BSEL in Electronics from California Polytechnic State University and has completed various leadership and emergency response training programs.
