Eddie Olson

Eddie Olson is the Senior Managing Director of Investment Accelerators at gener8tor. Eddie has over eight years of experience in venture investing and corporate development.

Olson began their career as an Analyst at Point Nine Capital, a Berlin-based venture capital firm, before moving to Team Europe Management GmbH, where they worked as an M&A Analyst.

In 2014, Olson joined Conservis as a Corporate Development // Product Manager. Conservis is a software company that provides tools for financial oversight, best practices, and performance against benchmarks. The company is venture backed.

Olson left Conservis in 2016 to join Allianz Life Ventures as a Venture Investor. Allianz Life Ventures is the venture investing arm of Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America. At Allianz Life Ventures, Olson focused on early stage investments in fintech, insurtech, and wealth and retirement companies.

In 2018, Olson joined Allianz X, the digital investment unit of Allianz, as a Venture Investor. Allianz X makes minority investments in digital companies across a range of industries including insurance, asset management, energy, and healthcare.

Eddie Olson has a deep understanding of the venture investing landscape and a proven track record of successful investments. Eddie is an expert in identifying and assessing new investment opportunities and executing on them to generate superior returns.

Eddie Olson has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Minnesota and a Master of Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas. Eddie also has a degree from the Institute of European Studies at IES Vienna.
