Rowan Hume

Rowan Hume is a Program Manager at The Brandery, a nationally-ranked accelerator that leverages the expertise of the Cincinnati region. Rowan has been with gener8tor for 3 years and 2 months, during which time they have also served as Senior Associate. In addition to an elite mentor network, startups are paired with world-class creative agencies and have access to some of the biggest companies in the world, including Procter & Gamble and Kroger. The Brandery runs one,12-week accelerator program a year for five companies. The participating startups each receive $100K, a year of free office space, and over $200K in additional benefits.

Prior to joining gener8tor, Rowan worked as a bartender at Revival and In Bloom. Rowan's responsibilities included cooperating with coworkers to efficiently provide an enjoyable experience for customers, promoting specialty food and beverage items, and facilitating and developing interpersonal abilities with a diverse demographic. Rowan also spent 7 months as a Research Lead at the University of St. Thomas and 5 months as an Animal Care Technician and Consultant at Surpass, Inc.

Outside of work, Rowan enjoys spending time outdoors and playing golf.

Rowan Hume has a Bachelor of Science from the University of St. Thomas in Biology and Spanish from 2015-2019. They were involved in BrightSide Produce, Club Hockey, Pre-Health Professions Club, and Rock Climbing Club while attending. Prior to that, Hume attended Forest Lake High School from 2012-2015 where they were involved in Student Council, Link Leader, Bleacher Captain, Tri-M, Varsity Hockey, Varsity Cross Country, and Varsity Track.
