Ashley Sands has extensive experience in educational roles, currently serving as a Senior Instructional Associate at General Assembly since October 2021. Previous positions at General Assembly include Instructional Associate and Teaching Assistant. In addition, Ashley has been a Web Page Developer for Pathways NC Inc since August 2021 and served as an Instructor Associate for Podium Education from May 2022 to August 2022. Earlier experience at Northern Illinois University includes a Graduate Teaching Assistant role, where instruction and grading for Spanish classes were performed, as well as a Student Worker in the Study Abroad Office. Ashley's background also features work as an Undergraduate Research Assistant and Community Advisor while pursuing education in Spanish, culminating in a Master’s degree from Northern Illinois University. Ashley completed a Software Engineering Immersive program at General Assembly in September 2021.
