Briar Dougherty

Briar Dougherty is the CEO and Founder of Career Organic, with a diverse background in career coaching and operational leadership. Since 2017, Briar has also served as Entrepreneur Advisor and Chief Impact Officer at briardougherty.com. In addition, Briar is a Career Navigation Coach, Speaker, and Instructor at General Assembly since March 2021. Briar's experience includes being the Interim Chief Operating Officer at The Ovie Mughelli Foundation from May 2019 to July 2022, where responsibilities involved strategic planning and partnership building. Previously, Briar managed career coaching and professional branding services at BD Career Coaching from 2013 to 2017, along with roles in marketing and management at companies such as Aspen Marketing, Ales Group, Aveda, and Saks Fifth Avenue. Educational qualifications include a B.S. in Advertising, Marketing, and Communications from the Fashion Institute of Technology.
