David Stinson

David Stinson is an experienced software engineering professional who currently serves as the Software Engineering Immersive Instructor Lead and previously as the Software Engineering Immersive Instructional Associate at General Assembly since July 2020. Stinson participated in a comprehensive three-month, 500-hour Software Engineering Fellowship at General Assembly in early 2020, specializing in a range of programming languages and methodologies. Prior to this, Stinson operated as a self-employed day trader for nearly eight years, developing skills in financial markets. As the Sole-Managing Member of Home 1701, LLC from 2014 to 2017, Stinson established a furnished rental property management company, honing expertise in various business operations. Stinson's earlier career includes a series of roles at American Eagle Outfitters, culminating as an Assistant Store Manager, where significant improvements in staff turnover and operational efficiency were achieved. Academic credentials include training at General Assembly and studies at the University of Central Oklahoma.
