Eric Bayless

Eric Bayless is an experienced Data Science Instructional Associate at General Assembly since April 2021, where responsibilities include providing supplemental lessons, evaluating projects, and engaging with students individually. Prior to this role, Eric served as the Head Cross Country Coach and Academic Substitute at Sparta High School from February 2016 to June 2020, achieving notable success in leading teams to sectional and state qualifications while also substituting across various grade levels. Earlier experience includes a consultancy role at Enable Central China, where prototyping and website redesign were primary tasks, and a position as a System Engineer at Cerner Corporation, focusing on data management and software deployment for numerous client systems. Eric holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology and is pursuing a Master of Science in Data Analytics at Georgia Institute of Technology, expected to complete in May 2026.
