Michael Budnow

Michael Budnow is an experienced managing director at Standard Ledger since January 2015, overseeing UK operations. As a co-founder and managing partner of Sydney Angels since October 2020, Michael also serves as a startup mentor for the New Enterprise Investment Fund at RMIT University and presents workshops at General Assembly. Additionally, Michael is a mentor with Techstars Tel Aviv Accelerator and has held the position of chief financial officer at Sydney School of Entrepreneurship. Previous roles include senior manager at Moore Stephens Pty Ltd and executive director at Goldman Sachs, where responsibilities encompassed M&A advisory and financial modeling. Educational achievements include a master's degree in accounting and chartered tax advisor certification, alongside extensive qualifications in law and taxation from Monash University and UNSW.
