Thomas Murphy

Thomas Murphy is an Advisory Director at General Atlantic since August 1994, previously serving as Managing Director and CFO. In addition to their role at General Atlantic, Thomas holds multiple board positions, including Board Member at BLOCK ISLAND HEALTH SERVICES INC, Greens Ledge Light Preservation Society, Ascent Soccer, and the Darien Soccer Association, along with serving as a Member of the Board of Trustees at Greens Farms Academy. Thomas is an alumnus of Colgate University, where a BA in Economics was earned, and holds both a Master's in Accounting and an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business. Prior to their current roles, Thomas worked as a Senior Accountant at Deloitte from June 1990 to July 1994.
