James Lambert

Space Systems Chief Engineer

James Lambert is an experienced aerospace and systems engineer currently serving as the Space Systems Chief Engineer at General Atomics since April 2018. With a background that includes roles as a Lead Systems Engineer for the US Army JSIL from April 2005 to April 2018 and prior military experience as a Marine at MACS-2 from June 1997 to June 2005, James possesses a strong foundation in engineering and leadership. James earned a Master of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering from Auburn University between January 2019 and December 2021, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from The University of Alabama in Huntsville from 2007 to 2010.
