John Smith has over 25 years of experience in engineering and management, currently serving as the Director and Program Manager for Superconducting Magnets at General Atomics since July 2006. Prior to this role, John held the position of Project Manager at Archimedes Technology Group from April 2002 to July 2006, and served as Division Manager for both Ismeca and Ismeca USA from June 1997 to February 2002. John Smith earned a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from San Diego State University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
