John Stock

John Stock, P.E., is a seasoned mechanical engineer with over 37 years of experience in the field, currently serving as EQ-Shock/Vibe Technical Test Lead at General Atomics since December 2003. In this role, John leads Navy shock and vibration testing and analysis for advanced launch and recovery programs, focusing on ruggedized equipment design, shock and vibration system design, and proposal efforts for military and commercial programs. Prior to General Atomics, John held positions at L-3 Communications and Northrop Grumman as Environmental Test Manager, and contributed to systems engineering at Raytheon. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of New Mexico and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from San Diego State University. John's extensive background includes work on various military projects and research in vibration reduction systems and simulation techniques related to explosive detonations.
