Stephen Klasko is an accomplished leader in the healthcare sector, currently serving as Executive In Residence at General Catalyst since February 2022 and as Board Chair of DocGo from October 2024. Previously, Klasko held the role of President and CEO at Thomas Jefferson University and Jefferson Health from September 2013 to December 2021, during which the organization experienced rapid growth and became a major provider of healthcare services in Greater Philadelphia. Prior to this, Klasko was the CEO of USF Health and Dean of the Morsani College of Medicine at the University of South Florida from September 2004 to September 2013. Klasko's earlier career included a tenure as Dean of Drexel University College of Medicine from June 2000 to September 2004. Educational qualifications include an M.D. from Drexel University College of Medicine, an MBA from The Wharton School, a DSc honoris causa from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and a B.S. in Chemistry and Biology from Lehigh University.
