Steve Martz

Steve Martz is the Head of Operations for Energy Transformation at General Catalyst, a position they have held since 2025. They bring over a decade of experience in the energy sector, having previously served as Vice President of Integrated Planning at Xcel Energy from 2022 to 2025. Prior roles include Market Development Manager and other positions at both SoCalGas and Sempra Energy, where Steve was involved in project management, regulatory affairs, and strategic development. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering at CalPoly, Steve continues to build on their extensive expertise in the field.
