Brian Engle

Brian Engle is a seasoned cybersecurity consultant and risk advisor with over 20 years of progressive experience in Information Technology and Information Security across various sectors, including government and healthcare. As the co-founder of the Texas CISO Council, they significantly contributed to advancing security initiatives through collaboration among security leaders. Engle has held key positions, such as Executive Director of the Retail Cyber Intelligence Sharing Center and CISO for the Texas Health and Human Services Commission. Currently, they serve as Principal Cybersecurity Advisor at GDT - General Datatech while continuing their education in Management/Computer Information Systems at Park University. Engle is also a certified CISSP professional and previously held the CISA certification.
