Pete Wurst

Pete Wurst has held various roles in supply chain management throughout their career. Starting as an Operations Specialist at GTE in 1998, they then moved on to Verizon Communications as a Section Manager. Pete then transitioned to Frontier Communications as a Manager, focusing on finance and vendor management. After that, they worked at Calix as a Vendor Manager responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies. Currently, Pete serves as the Senior Director at GDT - General Datatech, overseeing purchasing, procurement, logistics, and vendor management.

Pete Wurst holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Strategic Management & Business Law from the University of North Texas, earned from 1992 to 1996. Pete then pursued an MBA in Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix between 2007 and 2009. In 2009-2010, they completed an Executive Certificate in Leadership & Management from the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications in project management, business analysis, leadership, communication, supply chain management, and other related fields.
