Benjamin "Ed" Lewis, CMRP, is a seasoned Mechanical Engineer and Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional with over 30 years of industry experience. Currently serving as the Sr. Maintenance Manager at General Dynamics, they are focused on developing a world-class Maintenance and Reliability organization for a state-of-the-art automated munitions facility. Throughout their career, Ed has demonstrated a commitment to transitioning maintenance processes from reactive to proactive, achieving over 11% OEE gains and improving equipment uptime across multiple manufacturing locations. Ed's impressive track record includes previous roles at GAF and Poly-America, where they spearheaded initiatives that significantly enhanced maintenance and reliability practices. They hold a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology and continue to expand their knowledge in the field.
