John McGlynn is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in systems engineering and sensor systems for missile defense. Currently serving as the General Dynamics Company Lead for the Missile Defense National Team, John has held various technical roles, including Senior Analyst and Senior Principal Engineer, with a focus on electro-optics, infrared sensors, and modeling and simulation. John has previously worked at Northrop Grumman and Raytheon, leading advanced systems engineering projects and developing smart munition technologies. With a strong educational background in Applied Physics and Systems Engineering, John possesses expertise in lasers, radar, and atmospheric phenomenology, as well as proficiency in multiple programming languages including MATLAB and FORTRAN.
