Robert E. Smith is the Vice President and President of Jet Aviation at General Dynamics. Robert has over 20 years of experience in the aviation industry and has held various leadership positions during their career.

Smith began their career at Electric Boat in 1989 as the Director of Contracts and Estimating. Robert left Electric Boat in 2005 to join General Dynamics NASSCO as their CFO. Robert held this position for six years before moving to Jet Aviation in 2012. Smith became the CFO of Jet Aviation in August 2012 and held this position until December 2013 when they were promoted to Vice President and President of the company.

Robert E. Smith has an MBA in Finance from Rensselaer Hartford Graduate Center Inc and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Clemson University.
