Tom Lavrisa

Tom Lavrisa is an experienced aerospace engineering professional with a focus on flight sciences and propulsion systems. Currently serving as the Director of G650 Flight Sciences Engineering at Gulfstream Aerospace since March 2010, Tom manages the Flight Sciences Product Development Team throughout the development, testing, and certification of the Gulfstream G650 aircraft. Previous roles include Designated Engineering Representative at the Federal Aviation Administration and various leadership positions at Gulfstream Aerospace, including G650 Flight Sciences Engineering Product Development Team Lead and Principal Engineer. Tom has contributed to significant projects, including overseeing FAA certification for several Rolls-Royce engines and conducting extensive flight test activities. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
