Eric Knopf

Eric Knopf is a Chief Consulting Engineer in Rotordynamics at GE, where they have utilized over 25 years of experience in rotor and structure dynamics. They hold a PhD in rotor dynamics and mechatronics from Technische Universität Darmstadt and have advanced their knowledge through various programs at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Throughout their career, Eric has led high-performing teams, initiated new numerical and experimental methods, and been an active member of ISO standard bodies. Prior to their current role, they served as Manager of Rotordynamics at GE Power and Alstom Power, and worked as a Principal Engineer at Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG.
