John Cooke

John Cooke is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in commercial operations and contract leadership within the aviation and energy sectors. Currently serving as the Senior Director - North America Contracts Leader at GE Aviation since February 2022, John oversees the North America Contracts team. Previously, John held various leadership roles at GE from August 2008 to October 2021, including Senior Commercial Director, where responsibility included managing global deal teams and mentoring staff while driving new business in civilian and military markets. Additional titles include Leader of Contracts CoE and Commercial Manager in GE Power & Water, focusing on negotiations and risk management for extensive project portfolios. Prior to GE, John worked at Air Products & Chemicals as a Product Development Engineer, contributing to significant offerings and mentoring junior engineers. John holds an MBA from Lehigh University, alongside a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Toledo.
